In Review: Shea Moisture Restorative Line & the Kids Detangler

About a month ago, Shea Moisture was kind enough to send me the following products to review.  

Last week I decided to twist my hair using the full Restorative Line

I washed with the Restorative Shampoo and used the Restorative Conditioner as a leave in.  I used the Deep Treatment Masque as my styler for my twists.  Look how shiny and plump the twists are.
I decided to showcase some purple makeup that day as well.  Anyway, there is nothing to say other than I LOVE how they turned out.  My twists lasted a week.  I will be doing more twists this weekend using the same products again.  More pics to come.


I have mainly used the Restorative Conditioner as a detangler on the girls' hair and I LOVE it for that.
I have posted previously about it and posted pics to my IG.  I fill a water bottle with water and then add some oil and a few pumps of the conditioner.  I then spray the hair and get is soaking and then apply the conditioner directly to the hair as well.  Combing the hair is a breeze using this method.

I also use the Conditioner when styling the hair. If I am doing ponytails or some other style I apply to wet hair and then plait the hair such as below

I  will be using the line on the girls' hair this coming weekend when I wash their hair. I will be letting them steam as well so BOLO for those pics this weekend.


A few weeks ago I used the Kids Coconut & Hibiscus Detangler on my daughter Carrington and look at my results

 Her curls are detangled, shiny and beautiful.  I love the detangler on her hair.  I plan to purchase this item just for her!!!
